The Firefly 2+ Dab Pads are replacement pads for use of wax with the Firefly 2+/2/1. These concentrate pads are made out of food grade stainless steel wire. The reason why stainless steel is used for these pads is because it is not porous so your dabs will not be absorbed at all by the wire as it starts to heat up. The mesh is meant to keep your concentrates from leaking through to the bottom of your device and to allow for air flow. Not all concentrate pads are created the same, as they do expand when heated. It is best to use the pads made for your specific device!

Tip #1: Clean It Regularly

All vaping devices require some level of regular maintenance to keep functioning properly. You’ll want to clean the. pads at least once a week, and as often as after each use. Simply remove it from the rest of the kit and soak it in a cleaning solution which will dissolve gunk and debris that can clog the airflow and negatively impact the flavor. Allow it to fully dry before reattaching it to your device.

Tip #4: Don’t Overfill

Avoid overfilling your wax pads, because this can cause a lack of airflow that results in no vapor production whatsoever. Knowing how much to fill the chamber takes some trial and error, but try to avoid completely packing it in.
